Second label of Chateau Haut Sarpe. Ownerhsip under Joseph Janoueix Family. The Sarpe Mill, which is part of the French Mills Association, built in 1732, rises above Saint-Emilion and protects the land thanks to its wings. It gave its name to this wine. View: from the top of the Mill, you can see 12 bell-towers. Not very deep clayey, limestone and calcareous soils with starfishes that brings the best quality possible to create a great wine. Short cut and traditional farming techniques without the use of weed killers. Blend: 70% Merlot 20% Cabernet Franc 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
